When taking a cab in Prague, we strongly recommend phoning a reputable taxi company (e.g. AAA or CityTaxi). If possible, avoid hailing a cab on the street. Before the journey, request a printed receipt and make sure the driver sets the meter to zero. And, of course, it’s always a good idea to carry small bills and be discrete with your belongings.

It does! We offer 3 parking spots in our yard which cost 300 CZK per day. We recommend to book it via e-mail in advance.

If you prefer parking outside of the hostel, please note that the Prague 7 area has restricted street parking – residents zones and short term parking meters. This means you are not allowed to park on the street. We recommend you to use a 24 hour guarded parking area which is located only 2 trams stops from the hostel. The cost is 200 CZK (cca 8 EUR) per car per 24hrs for Sir Toby’s guests. First come to the hostel to drop your luggage and we will give you a voucher and directions. Please leave your hazard lights on when parked in front of the hostel.

On occasion, due to the nature of hostels, it can happen that guests need to move rooms during their stay despite our best efforts to limit and avoid such cases.
Sir Toby’s is a hostel for travellers, not for workers. For this reason we have a 7 night maximum stay in any 3 month period.
All bookings must be paid for on arrival or at the time of extension.
We do not allow check out and check in of rooms on the same day, unless there is no other option available. i.e. no bed/room hopping! We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave if we feel they are disturbing the general operation of the hostel, other guests or our staff.
We kindly ask guests for understanding.
